When speaking its not what you say but how you say it. Emotion is most important when speaking . If the tone of your voice is mono tone you will turn people off from listening. Here are a few tips to help you learn to speak with emotion and connect.
1) Read a children’s book out loud
2) Visualize each word and let your emotion come to the top
3) Practice in front of a mirror and check your smile
4) Video record yourself and check your performance
Communication is key. Whether its getting heard in meetings, giving presentations or speaking on the phone-your voice must communicate in both social and business settings.
